Sephora Beauty Insider Birthday Gift 2015

This year Sephora is giving out NARS lip pencils as birthday gifts for beauty insiders. I love Cruella as a red lip. This was my first time wearing one and I fell in love! It's very matte, but not dry feeling at all. Rikugien is not my favourite colour. I don't feel like it suits my skintone. The feeling is sort of gritty because it has some shimmer to it. The one downside to these lip pencils are that they have to be sharpened, so you will have to buy a sharpener for these unless you already have one. I do wish they just twisted up though, because it wastes a lot of product when you sharpen it.

·        Looks cakey if you put setting powder over

·        Expensive

·        Doesn’t hold oil as long as I expected

·        Doesn’t last as long as claimed

I much prefer the NARS Sheer Glow foundation. I was hoping that this new foundation would be similar but with longer lasting power and oil control. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Don't forget to watch my first impression video linked below.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara Review

Pros:

• Adds volume
• Adds length
• Cute packaging

Cons:

• Doesn't hold curl on super straight eyelashes
• Expensive

My overall experience with this mascara is a bit disappointing. I curled my lashes before putting this mascara on, but my lashes still fell. I've seen it work well on other people's lashes, but my lashes just do not hold curl well at all even with a "super-curling" mascara.
